Developer Carlos Beruff stopped in Charlotte County yesterday while campaign for Marco Rubio’s seat in the Senate.
WZVN-TV reports nine Republicans, seven Democrats, and a bunch of candidates without any party affiliation have all made the ballot for August’s primary.
Beruff decided to run as a Republican. He called Florida a big state with a diverse background.
County Republican chairman Bill Folke said many candidates “need more exposure” than they have received.
