Seaside Engineering and Surveying Inc. will be performing hydrographic and topographic beach profile surveys on Venice Beach beginning Aug. 19. The surveys are being done for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. Work includes the use of a 25-foot boat near the shoreline. The project is expected to be complete by Aug. 31.
