With the grim discovery of infant Chance Walsh’s body in a secluded area of North Port yesterday, jail representatives tell NBC2 that Chance’s mother, Kristen Bury, is on her way back to Florida from a South Carolina jail where she and Chance’s father, Joseph Walsh, were in custody on child neglect charges. At latest check, Walsh is still in South Carolina. The Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office is working to confirm the baby’s identity.
