Detectives continue looking for a suspected burglar.
The sheriff’s office says a dark blue SUV pulled up to the Sprint store on Tamiami Trail in Port Charlotte just after midnight Aug. 2.
It claims a man did something at the front door before returning to the SUV.
He then returned to the front door and opened it. The alarm sounded and he escaped in the SUV.
The sheriff’s office has posted a small video of all this to its Facebook and YouTube pages. Anyone with any information should give it a call.
