A 53-year-old man’s been arrested in a June 26th midday robbery of a Bank of America branch on Venice Island. Venice Police say they believe Michael Baird handed a note to a teller saying he had a weapon and demanded money. Security video showed the suspect wearing multiple bandages on his face, long work-style coveralls and white socks as sleeves on his arms. He also had a ball cap with draped neck protection.
Detectives found [arts of the robbers outfit near the bank. Police got a tip, and tracked Baird to a storage lot on South Seaboard Avenue where he was living.
