A Sarasota man arrested in the city’s first murder of 2012. Police say 33-year-old Roy Couran has been charged with homicide in the January 25th attempted robbery and shooting death of Jeffrey Hill. Couran is also being charged with attempted robbery with a firearm and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. The case reportedly still under investigation by Sarasota police today.
