The number of people traveling through the airport in Punta Gorda last month increased 33 percent from the last year.
The Charlotte County Airport Authority says this increase puts the airport on track to hit a million passengers for the first time this year.
The Business Observer reports over 87,000 people traveled through it last month.
This marks the 31st consecutive month of year-over-year passenger growth.
