The airport in Punta Gorda reports a passenger count increase of 26 percent compared to the same month last year.
The Herald-Tribune calls this the 32nd consecutive month that the airport has experienced more people coming in and out of it compared to the previous year.
The airport reports 98,000 passengers, with a nearly even split between people boarding and people arriving.
Allegiant Air remains the airport’s lone carrier at this time.
The rolling 12-month passenger total comes out to 972,000.
