L. A. Ainger Middle School students will have a chance to see the traveling Vietnam Wall up close and personal.

The school has a long-standing relationship with the Vietnam Brotherhood. Every year they have the veterans come to the school and talk about what life was like during the war and back home. Students have asked probing questions and have hugged the veterans after their assemblies. Students even made a “Thank You For Your Service” quilt for the veterans. Now
the eighth grade students get to take their relationship one step farther. Tomorrow the eighth grade students will get a chance to experience the travelling Vietnam Memorial as it makes a stop in Englewood.
