CCSO detectives have arrested an Englewood East man for the robbery of a 16-year-old boy. Police say 43-year old John Butler of Peacock Lane believed the teen, who he stopped while riding a bicycle, had been responsible for stealing a jacket from his pickup truck. The juvenile says he was punched and the jacket forcibly removed from him. He says he knew nothing about the theft, and Butler, couldn’t remember if he hit the boy or not. The theft from the truck’s still under investigation.
