A Cape Coral woman died yesterday in a boating accident on the Caloosahatchee River. Authorities say a tube on the boat carrying twenty-three-year-old Maleah Nowak flew out of it. The line attached to it wrapped around her neck and pulled her into the water. Investigators continue examining the boat for clues to shed light on what led up to her Nowak’s death. Gary More from the F-W-C tells A-B-C Seven that he has never seen a death under these circumstances. However, he says wind can cause a problem on any vessel and boaters need to take it into consideration.
