It’s Siesta Public Beach, and this time it’s AARP giving it the top spot on its list of 12 beaches to visit this year. AARP ranked Hawaii’s LaniKai second and the Virginin Islands Trunk Bay on St. John as third. The Herald Tribune reports Siesta was the only Florida spot on the last, and one of only 4 in the United States to make their top 12. It’s been a good year for Siesta Public Beach, having already been names #1 in TripAdvisor.com’s 2015 “Traveler’s Choice Awards,” as well as being named by Yahoo Travel as one of the top spring break spots to visit.
