Port Charlotte Beach Park will begin to get a new look starting Monday. Construction will add sidewalks at the boat ramp area, near the recreation center and restroom area. Accessibility to the park itself will change as well. The bathrooms and pavilions will be closed during the construction phase. The recreation center and boat ramp will stay open and everything is scheduled for completion by Sept. 20.
