There’s a new director of Planning and Development Services in Sarasota County. Matt Osterhoudt is getting the job full-time after having served as interim director since last year. Previously, he served as senior manager for Planning and Development Services and oversaw development services and environmental protection. As director, Osterhoudt will be responsible for all oversight of planning, zoning, land development, neighborhood services, the Englewood Community Redevelopment Agency, environmental protection, code enforcement and building related services.
