The weather’s warmer and the flashers may coming out again. Punta Gorda Police say they arrested 62-year old John Mielke of Port Charlotte today for exposing his sexual organs. Police went to the Gilchrist Bridge after a 29-year old female runner reported a man exposed himself to her. Mielke voluntarily came to the police department and provided a statement. Mielke has several prior arrests and or convictions for indecent exposure going back to the 1960’s. He’s in Charlotte County Jail.
