Two men have been hospitalized after a collision in Englewood on Thursday afternoon. The accident took place on South River Road just after 2 p.m. when an elderly driver failed to yield to a motorcyclist who had the right of way.
The motorcyclist, Robert Ainsworth, 51, was transported via Bayflite to Sarasota Memorial Hospital and is being treated for critical injuries.
The elderly man was treated for minor injuries at Englewood Medical Center.
