Charges have been filed against three man who are accused of dragging a shark behind a speed boat. Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission and Hillsborough County State Attorney’s Office have charged 21-year-old Michael Wenzel, 28-year-old Robert Lee Benac and 23-year-old Spencer Heintz each with felonies, while Wenzel and Benac were also charged with a misdemeanor for their part in taking the shark. Authorities have investigated the event for four months.
