A canine officer of the the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office has gone missing. According to a press release from the sheriff’s office, the dog named Edo was last seen just before 8pm Saturday near Cranberry Ave. and Tamiami Trail. Residents are asked to keep an eye out for the German Shepard and to contact the Charlotte County Sheriff’s office at 941-639-0013 with any information. As of the last update from both the sheriff’s office and the North Port Police department, the dog was still missing.
