The person-of-interest in the case involving the death of an 82-year-old woman in Bradenton has now been charged with second-degree-murder. 55-year-old Misty Whiteley was picked up on Tuesday for the murder in Zelma Huddleston. Police found a key chain belonging to Whiteley in a pool of blood near the body of the deceased. A knife was also found in the area. The medical examiner has concluded that blunt force trauma and cuts are the cause of death. Whiteley remains behind bars at the Manatee County Jail on bail of roughly $750 thousand.
