The Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office has fired a deputy after an investigation revealed she ‘was involved’ with a former employee. 23-year old deputy Carson Plank was fired this week following an internal affairs investigation. That investigation recommended that Plank be fired. She was also charged with two separate criminal offenses. The deputy ‘had involvement’ with former deputy Frankie Bybee, who’s charged with attempted murder. Police say he tried to kill a 79-year-old Sarasota woman in her home after allegedly bilking her out of thousands of dollars.
