The investigaton continues into the officer-involved fatal shooting that occurred Sunday evening on Marcum Street in Englewood. A man named Jacob Taulbee, armed with knives, allegedly approached Charlotte County Sheriff’s Deputies. When Taulbee refused orders to stop, a deputy shot and killed him. Later this morning, Sheriff Bill Prummell will be holding a second news conference to update details of the investigation.
