The Charlotte County Sheriff’s Department is holding an Open House and Job Fair next Saturday at the headquarters building on Utilities Road in Punta Gorda.
Families are encouraged to attend as there will be a number of police and fire vehicles on display and the first 100 kids will get a goody bag from the Sheriff’s Department.
In addition to the open house, representatives will be on hand from Charlotte County Fire and EMS along with the Sheriff’s office and Public Works departments to talk about career opportunities with those agencies.
The event starts at 9am.
