Another case of the Zika virus contracted from travel is reported in Sarasota County, bringing the total number of cases to five.

Charlotte County has one reported case and the total statewide is now at 745, according to the Florida Department of Health.

Zika is known to cause significant birth defects and authorities say there are now 110 pregnant women in Florida known to have the virus.

Officials in Miami-Dade County says165 Zika cases there were contracted via local transmission via mosquitos carrying the virus.
