A debate between the two candidates for the District 4 Punta Gorda City Council seat is scheduled for Monday.
Lynne Matthews and Bob Peterson will debate at the Fourpoints by Sheraton Hotel on Tamiami Trail, Punta Gorda beginning 5:30pm.
It will be a traditional debate format, with a short introduction by each candidate then questions from the moderator that will have originated from the floor.
