A Punta Gorda woman had her day in court yesterday, and it ended with good news and bad news.
A trooper pulled over Judy Jones because she had writing on the windshield of her truck that blocked her view.
However, Jones claimed the trooper gave her the ticket because she had “What would Jesus do?” on her windshield.
In the end, she got out of the ticket. However, the judge said she needed to remove the lettering and replace it with something transparent.
Jones tells WBBH-TV that she never accused the trooper in court for pulling her over for religious reasons, but she said she would fix the windshield.
