Dozens of animals in Louisiana need new homes because of the flooding there.

Englewood Animal Rescue has already accepted nearly 30 dogs and cats.

WBBH-TV reports the rescue wants to take more, but they need to find homes first.

The staff also has an eye on the weather since more rain would lead to more stranded animals.

The rescue has received a good response from the community, but it says it still needs more foster parents, volunteers, supplies, and cash donations.
