The Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office has deputies staked out in two places next week for speeders.
Expect more strict enforcement of the speed limit on Melbourne Street in Port Charlotte, and Placida Road in Englewood.
Deputies also plan on watching traffic lights more carefully at two intersections in Port Charlotte: Veterans Boulevard and Atwater Street, and Tamiami Trail and Midway Boulevard.
