The highway patrol has ticketed a driver following a six-vehicle crash.
It happened yesterday morning on I-75 south at Sumter Boulevard.
The troopers have charged 33-year-old Heather Hagen of Sarasota with careless driving.
They claim Hagen and two others drove in the right lane, and three other vehicles traveled in the left lane.
The troopers believe Hagen lost control of her Volkswagen and went into a wall. The car stopped facing the wrong way in the right lane.
The report shows Hagen exited the vehicle to warn oncoming traffic, but a second vehicle hit hers. A third vehicle then hit it, and that sent debris all over the road. A fourth vehicle hit the engine block, a fifth vehicle hit a tire in the road, and the last vehicle ran into some debris, too.
The troopers do not report any injuries.
