A camera caught a wrong-way driver coming down the breakdown lane on I-75 Monday.
The camera came from inside a Sarasota deputy’s patrol vehicle.
Deputies ultimately stopped 21-year-old Ryan Fleury of Port Charlotte.
They say a test put his BAC at .28, which more than triples the legal limit.
WFLA-TV reports none of this caused any injuries.
The sheriff’s office says if you ever encounter a wrong-way driver, then move safely to the other side of the road or come to a stop. Dial 911 immediately.
Also, never turn around to follow the driver. This can put you and others in more danger.
