Betty Sue Carroll was always a strong voice on the issues facing South Manasota Key. Now, that voice is now silent.
After fighting what her family called “a triple onslaught of diseases,” Carroll died peacefully on Monday.
She served on the South Manasota Key Municipal Service Taxing Unit Advisory Board, and as a founding member of the Manasota and Sandpiper Key Advisory Committee.
Carroll is survived by her husband, Bob; sons, Kenneth and Robert Carroll; brother, Robert Douglas Garner and three grandchildren, Cooper, Owen and London.
