The mother of Baby Chance has taken a plea deal.
The agreement in Sarasota allows Kristen Bury to avoid a trial.
It means Bury serves 25 years in prison, but she must testify against the baby’s father, Joseph Walsh.
Chance’s body turned up in the woods in North Port in October.
Investigators believe Walsh beat the child to death, and the two of them buried the infant before leaving the state.
