18-year-old Corey Brown is awaiting sentencing after a Sarasota County jury found him guilty of killing a man who Brown said made an offensive comment to a female friend. 23-year-old Carlton Parhm was found lying by a roadside near Booker High School following the March 2014 confrontation.
