Beer sales in Florida have increased, and so have the taxes on beer.
The taxes actually stand higher than most places in the country.
The Tax Foundation says for every gallon sold in Florida, the state collects 48 cents in tax.
Only nine states have a higher number.
The Beer Institute calls taxes “the single most expensive ingredient in beer.”
