North Port Police say a 22-year old homeless man, identified as Nicholas Luciano’s been arrested for allegedly stabbing someone to death. NBC2 reports someone called 911 around 4 this morning to report a man covered in blood near Bullard Avenue. Investigators searched the surrounding area for the next couple of hours, and found a body near Granada Boulevard and Trionfo Avenue, a few blocks away from Bullard Avenue. Police say they’re not releasing the victims name pending notification of next of kin. They’re questioning several people about the incident and want to hear from anyone with additional information.
