The 43rd Annual Amateur Sand Sculpture Contest comes back to Sarasota County on Saturday, May 2nd. It takes place at Siesta Beach. It’s open to all ages, and it’s a free event. Event registration on May 2nd starts at 8:30 a.m., with judging starting at 1 p.m. and awards at 2 p.m. There is no rain date for the event.
