Someone may have kidnapped a teenager initially reported as a runaway.
The Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office says 15-year-old Sydney Silvernail disappeared from her home on Sunkist Drive in Punta Gorda over the weekend. However, new information shows someone may have taken her against her will.
The sheriff’s office also says she may have ended up in the Miami area.
Detectives not only look for Silvernail, but also for two people of interest: 19-year-old Roach Yates of Homestead and 19-year-old Angelo Cruz of South Punta Gorda Heights.
