The founder of the Sarasota Chalk Festival confirms acceptance to compete for a Guinness Book World Record.

Denise Kowal wants to create the largest anamorphic pavement art at Venice Municipal Airport.

This would happen at the festival grounds during this year’s Chalk Festival.

Kowal says the founder of anamorphic pavement art ahs agreed to design the 17,000-square-foot installation.

Kurt Wenner’s “Circus Parade” took eight days to create at the Chalk Festival two years ago. He and artists covered 1,800 square feet in chalk.
