A Kansas man was charged last night with Soliciting for Prostitution after he allegedly propositioned a detective during an undercover operation. The operation was run near Jones Loop Road and Knights Drive in Punta Gorda in response to reports of illegal sexual activity in the area. The suspect’s been identified as 43-year old Larry Culp, Jr., of Cawker City, Kansas. He was arrested after propositioning a female undercover officer in a gas station parking lot. He was booked into the Charlotte County Jail on a $1,000 bond.
