The Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office has deputies looking for speeders next week in two spots.
People especially need to obey the speed limit on Taylor Road in Punta Gorda, and on Veterans Boulevard in Port Charlotte between Highway 41 and Harbor Boulevard.
Deputies also enforce traffic lights and stop signs at two Port Charlotte intersections next week. They camp out at El Jobean Road and Flamingo Boulevard, and at Highway 41 and Murdock Circle.
