Police and fire personnel in Venice rescued two kite boarders in the Gulf of Mexico last night.
They responded to a report of trouble 300 yards offshore from Alhambra Road.
Emergency crews arrived to find two people hanging onto their boards with the current and wind taking them south from the shore.
Firemedics brought both people to shore. Neither one required medical attention.
