A Punta Gorda man was airlifted to Lee Memorial Hospital last night for injuries received when authorities say he jumped out of a moving car. Punta Gorda PD say it happened at Harborside Avenue and Taylor Street around 11. The victim, who suffered serious injuries, has been identified as Ronald Jackson. Police tell NBC2 Jackson and his brother got into an argument after a night out drinking with friends, and he opened the back door of the car and jumped out. It was moving about 15 mph at the time.
