Nathan Benderson Park will co-host the 2018 NCAA Rowing Championships with the University of Central Florida. It’s another major ebvent that will be a boost to tourism. The Herald-Tribune reports NCAA Rowing Championships will be nationally televised and be another sign that Benderson Park’s become a top rowing destination. About 3,000 athletes and fans will be here for three days of competition in May 2018. The NCAA Rowing Championships are a women’s event for Division 1, 2 and 3 schools. Success with this could lead to hosting the Intercollegiate Rowing Association championship — the mens equivalent.
