(CHARLOTTE COUNTY) The Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office will pay special attention to traffic enforcement at these locations from September 16 – 22.
SPEED ENFORCEMENT:
Entire length of Gulfstream Blvd. (Englewood)
Peachland Blvd. (Port Charlotte)
TRAFFIC LIGHT/STOP SIGN ENFORCEMENT:
US 41 and Conway Blvd. (Port Charlotte)
SR 776 (McCall Road) and Spinnaker Rd. (Englewood)
According to the Department of Highway Safety & Motor Vehicles, Charlotte County has 17 vehicle deaths so far this year; there were 15 deaths this same time last year.
