Sarasota County’s hosting public meetings tonight and next week to find out what you think should be in the Sarasota 2050 Plan. It’s intended to be a guide for allowing more residential development near I-75 over the next half century. The meetings will be an open-house and there will be county staff on hand to discuss environmental and open space issues, as well as design and fiscal neutrality.
