A South Carolina man is dead following a crash yesterday in Charlotte county:
The state patrol reports 24-year old Montavalo Santos of Ruffin, SC was killed when he lost control of a 1999 Mitsubishi Galant on State Road 31 at Farabee Road yesterday morning. According to a crash report Santos was southbound on State Road 31 and left the road to the right as he rounded a curve. As the car started to spin on the shoulder, it his a culvert, which sent the car airborne, hitting a palm tree and an Oak Tree on the other side of the road some distance in the air. The car came to rest on its roof on the far side of the right-of-way fence.
