Sarasota County Commissioners are set to begin contract discussions with the current county manager of Alachua County. Terry Lewis has been serving as interim county administrator since the resignation of James Ley back in May. Earlier this week, Commissioners interviewed three other candidates for the position. The commission considered the county manager of York County, South Carolina; the city administrator of Augusta, Georgia and the current city administrator of West Palm Beach before deciding to enter into contract negotiations with Lewis.
