The family of a dead teen who died while crossing a street six months has decided to file a wrongful death lawsuit against two people who were part of the crash. The parents of 16-year-old Matthew Batchie filed suit against Ashley Kozel and Marko Radisic in Sarasota Court. The lawsuit accuses Radisic of failing to avoid the collision. Kozel recently received a $34 million settlement after getting divorced from Gulf Keystone Petroleum CEO Todd Kozel. The vehicle that killed Batchie is owned by Kozel’s company. She is a well-known area philanthropist.
