Someone robbed a Pokemon GO player of her purse last night in Sarasota.
Police say officers responded to the parking lot of 2 Marina Jack after someone reported a robbery.
They spoke with a woman who claimed an African-American man came up behind her and grabbed her purse.
She had it strapped across her shoulder.
The woman last saw the man running northbound across Route 41.
She said he stood 5’8″ with a thin build. She also said he wore a blue shirt, blue shorts, and a straw hat.
Police say they did find the purse, but not the wallet.
