A woman in custody for illegally bringing her 12-year-old daughter from Michigan to Southwest Florida claims the pair were in a ‘bad living situation.’
Ryla Hubbard spoke to NBC-2 this week, saying she thought she was legally allowed to take her daughter- of whom she doesn’t have custody- to Punta Gorda.
Hubbard already has a long criminal history in Charlotte County, something she claims is in the past.
The girl’s grandmother told the TV station that if Hubbard has truly changed, she wouldn’t have “left her two sons here having them wondering why they didn’t get to go.”
