A woman has been charged criminally for making a phone call that falsely reported a bomb in Tallahassee. The call was made by 33-year-old Paulletta Higgins to the Florida Department of Children and Families. Higgins called the office nearly 100 times after she was refused food assistance by the office. She then told a person who answered the phone that a bomb was going to go off. The building was not evacuated and Higgins is charged with falsely reporting a bomb, making harassing phone calls and falsely reporting a crime.
